Raw Potential: Latin America as the New Energy Hub
Latin America has an extraordinary amount of resources, from fossil fuels to minerals such as lithium, copper and rare earths. These building blocks of the energy transition are in demand wherever countries rely on clean energy sources to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and increase security of supply. In addition, there are good conditions for generating energy from renewable sources such as solar or wind power. How economies in Latin America can use these resources and compensate for global supply bottlenecks is the subject of this panel.
