Courtney Rickert McCaffrey is the Global Insights Leader for the EY Geostrategic Business Group. She is a recognized thought leader in political risk and global macro trends, with an emphasis on analyzing the strategic implications for companies. She is a creative methodologist with experience in risk indices, scenario analysis, and horizon scanning. Courtney is the co-author of a forthcoming book entitled Geostrategy by Design: How to Manage Geopolitical Risk in the New Era of Globalization. She has previously worked at Kearney, Eurasia Group, and the US International Development Finance Corporation. Courtney earned her BA from Drake University and her MA from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
